  • What is CTE?

    Career & Technical Education is a group of courses and pathways delivered at comprehensive and CTE-dedicated high schools, magnet schools, area technical centers, community and technical colleges and some four-year universities. CTE prepares students for the workforce across a wide range of industries and occupations. ROISD has a very robust CTE program with 32 programs of study and approximately 2,000 students (86%) engaged in one or more CTE classes during their high school career.
