Welcome!

I was born and raised in Riverside, California, and at the age of 16, my family relocated to Granbury, Texas. I later attended Texas Tech University, where I graduated in December 2013 with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Education. Since then, I have taught English I at Samuell High School and, in 2015, began teaching at Red Oak High School. Now, as I begin my 10th year at Red Oak, I am proud to serve as both an AP Lang and English III teacher, as well as the team lead.

In May of 2025, I married the love of my life, and I'm fortunate to work across the hall from him. Together, we have three wonderful boys—Luke, Noah, and Levi—so our house is never short on battles and endless laughter. We also have a sweet puppy and kitten who love to join in on the chaos with their own battle royales.
