I graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing in 2000. I spent the first two years of my nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse at Charlton Methodist. After that, I worked in the trauma/surgical ICU at Parkland Hospital. Before coming to work as a school nurse for Wooden Elementary, I spent ten years in labor and delivery at THR Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. I married my high school sweetheart in 2002 and have 2 awesome kids! Both of my children are Red Oak graduates. Working and living in Red Oak has only made my love for this area grow. I love working with my Wooden family and my Wooden students. It is my goal to use my nursing skill set to help kids live healthy lives so that they may obtain the best education possible.
